Villa Jagonda is located in an idililic position right on a spacious and private waterfront. Our room had wonderful views from the large balcony, and the restaurant also has superb vistas through the trees down to the water. Petar and Anna were superb hosts. Incredibly attentive, always wanting to help, and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Compared to the hussle and bussle in Hvar town, coming back to Villa Jagonda was paradise. The food was beautifully presented and well cooked. Thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay and relax.

We had a great time at Villa Jagodna! Ana and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. The property is beautiful and has many places to lounge and take a swim in the water. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. On the day we were checking out we asked Ana if we could leave our bags for the day since our ferry to Split was in the evening and she told us that no one would be checking into our room till the following day so we could stay in our room until our ferry ride in the evening! The dinner is great there as well!

I rarely write reviews but compelled to do this as Villa Jagodna is a gem. Located in a lovely sheltered bay with stunning views across the turquoise water. The owner Peter, daughter Anna and their staff manage the Villa perfectly. Produce their own family virgin Olive Oil which is the best I’ve tasted. Food is great, swimming and kayaking in crystal clear water and can easily hangout all day on the secluded sun loungers. Truly one of the best places for an idyllic, relaxing get away, and yet so close to Hvar for the nightlife if you want it.

We spent part of our honeymoon at Villa Jagodna and it is a truly magical place. The property is off the beaten-path, secluded, yet just a 10 minute drive from town. Away from the masses, the beach is designed so you feel as if you have the whole green bay to yourself. The property is clean and our room had a beautiful sea-front balcony where the waves lulled us to sleep each night when we left the doors open. One of the best parts of our trip was the hospitality provided by Ana, Peter, and the entire staff at the Villa. They are warm, caring people who made sure our every need was taken care of. We felt so welcome staying there and hope to return! Ana is probably the nicest host we’ve ever had. Also, the local dishes their restaurant offers are delicious. Try the sea bass!

We loved this place!! A little taste of paradise. Secluded, charming, relaxing, fantastic service, friendly, generous and just utterly terrific!! Told us which taxi to get from town, arrival drink, room upgrade, friendly and generous service. Facilities were amazing, kayaks, snorkelling gear and a pizza beach. This was our favourite place on our long trip around Croatia. Thanks Ana and Peter. We will be back!

It was such a peaceful, quiet & beautiful setting. Anna & Petar (the owners) were wonderful! They went out of their way to help us out- Anna helped us book ferry tickets to Dubrovnik and printed them off for us & Petar helped us carry our luggage up the stairs when checking out. They kept our baggage on the day of check out & allowed us to use their facilities while we waited for our 6:40 pm ferry from Hvar to Dubrovnik. We didn’t leave the resort to explore hvar as we felt we had everything here! Gorgeous view of the sea from our room on our balcony. The sea was turquoise, it was paradise here. Access to waterfront that had loungers under shaded cabanas & kayaks. The breakfast which was included with booking.com was wonderful! Wide variety of teas & juice and coffee, fresh breads, cereal, fruit, tomatoes, cheese, olives and meats, yogurt & you can order eggs which are included as well (omelettes, scrambled, over easy) The service at the restaurant is impeccable! Very nice family owned resort. Will definitely recommend to our family & friends.
It was 5kms from hvar & very twisty windy roads so not a good idea to walk to hvar but they have a deal with the taxi company called sun city who charged 80 kuna ($16.80 CAD) one way (which is twice as cheap as other companies) The dinner buffet was quite good but expensive (around 280 kuna/ person which is about $60 CAD plus any drinks you order) Also, I recommend bringing some food/drinks/alcohol with you as they are not open for lunch and snacks.
